One of our most popular rings since we debuted it, these simple mountains were inspired by the Grand Tetons but could really be any mountains. We start with raw brass and the mountains using our unique acid-free etching process. Available in seven wholes sizes (6-12) and two beautiful finishes
Matte Silver Finish:
After etching and finishing, the ring is electroplated with 500 microinches of sterling silver, a slight oxidation and a protective finish. Most silver plate is only 10 to 20 microinches thick, making this at least 25 times thicker! This process is a nickel free process. The result is a gorgeous matte super durable silver finish. Take care of your piece just like any other silver jewelry you have. Keep it a cool dry airtight box, bag or the packaging it comes with. You can use a silver polishing cloth or sterling silver cleaner but all your really need is a clean soft cloth.
Antique Matte Brass Finish
After the ring is etched and forged, we darken it with a brown black oxidizer but then remove almost all of it, leaving just enough oxidation to bring out the details of the design. We finish up by giving it a light lacquer to keep it looking beautiful. The chain and lobster call are also solid brass and hand oxidized. Like the silver finish, just care for this piece as you would any other jewelry. You can use a polishing cloth or clean cloth or even give it a light buff with a nail file.
Please allow is 2-3 day for antique brass and up to two weeks on silver (although it might be much less) If you need by an exact date, please email to see if we have in stock.
