A chunky ring with one of the most iconic views of Yosemite. We use our unique etching process to capture El Capitan, the surrounding peaks and the trees below.
After the etching process, which is acid free/toxic, we add extra texture and finish by hand... as a result no two are exactly the same. The piece you receive may be slightly different from the image shown. If you are not satisfied with the piece, we will gladly exchange it for another item or issue you a full refund.
This is available in two finishes, Matte Silver or Antique Matte Brass and in seven whole sizes.
Matte Silver Finish:
After etching and finishing, the piece is electroplated with 500 mils of sterling silver, a slight oxidation and a protective finish. Most silver plate is only 10 to 20 mils thick, making this at least 25 times thicker! This process is a nickel free process. The result is a gorgeous matte super durable silver finish. Take care of your piece just like any other silver jewelry you have. Keep it a cool dry airtight box, bag or the packaging it comes with. You can use a silver polishing cloth or sterling silver cleaner but all your really need is a clean soft cloth.
Antique Matte Brass Finish
After the piece is forged, we darken it with a brown black oxidizer but then remove almost all of it, leaving just enough oxidation to bring out the details of the design. We finish up by giving it a light lacquer to keep it looking beautiful. The chain and lobster call are also solid brass and hand oxidized. The chain, clasp and findings have the same finish. Like the silver finish, just care for this piece as you would any other jewelry. You can use a polishing cloth or clean cloth or even give it a light buff with a nail file. Do not use brass cleaner.
